The MET gala was full of celebrities last night strutting their Manus X Machina inspired fashions but there was a beauty trend that seemed to overtake the show. Today it was named the new trend, as the look re-appeared from celebrity to celebrity all evening. Today it is known as 'eye-strobing'.
The look: tightly packed metallic shadow applied at the tear duct then blended out into the inner eye corner. It's not as if this hasn't been done before as it is often used to brighten the eye, but at the MET, this strobing was done to an extreme. From icy silvers to shiny golds and glittery whites, these metallic-strobed eyes stood out, almost more than the fashions.
